And who were the two clowns? Sounds like a Canadian made film.

The Montana Freeman got away with stupid shit like that, look where they ended up.

Maybe they wouldn't have stopped him if he had EZY's super DOT #.  Roll Eyes

We should also note that this has nothing at all to do with court decisions. It's simply cops not well trained, such as the cop that wrote me up a dui after he ordered me to drive to the police station.

Again, shit like this proves NOTHING. It would be beaten down in court every time. This is why these types can NEVER produce a court order dismissing the charge.

You'll also notice, these fruit cakes are calling them "Police", which they are  not in America, they are LEO's.

Last, these cops are clearly from some small town. No way, even in a small city like Billings, would you get away with running your mouth like that. No way in hell. Again, these seem like small town Canadian cops.

The harm is steel, they are wrong, and if people follow such stupidity, they may get killed.

It has no legal basis. It is simply getting away with nothing from untrained officers. The average officer in the USA would have put both of those guys heads in the ground, taken them to jail.

Then they would have spewed their bullshit to a judge that would just ignore them anyway, and they would be convicted.

I know in your mind you believe they have pulled something off that the "law" can't touch them. How sad and wrong that is. They proved nothing.

"Affidavit of Truth" was the first clue that the holders of the docs don't even know what the hell they are.

I've been in contact with a gentleman here in the States who for years has had such success at the side of the road with an affidavit.

Sure EZ, sure. Like how you use a Department of Transportation number  in place of a license plate.

Sure wouldve loved to hear , how that one went over at the company watercooler!  i bet the next one with a piece of paper , wont get shown any love!!  I'm glad to see , someone get the proper response! , at least thats how its supposed to go.  a response that's part of the norm , instead of the exception. Even better is , the officers , follow their regs and then they would nt have stopped him , in the first place , lacking probable cause to start with.
At present , i'm lookin into , filing cross-complaints everytime , i get a citation , this way a challenge of all the jurisdictional issues , have to get addressed and once the officers complaint falls through the crack , he is left , with paying damages. Its the only way , i see , that we stand a chance of getting these "street urchins" to do what the law requires of them and no more,  after all we dont pay them to sweep the streets too, and their duties are outlined for them in black and white, and if they cant read or understand or they wont read and understand , then the unemployment office is where they belong.  I for one want my money's worth, not that my money is worth anything, so says the boss of the I R S, the treasury, until tax time rolls around , then those stamps are "income".  ( will someone please make up their minds), but i digress. All of the conclusions of law, proffered by officers , have to be rebutted and i believer there is no better way , to do that , and get their attention , is to cross file , with a nice number attached , maybe 150,000.
I know i'd give it a second thought before , i'd violate someones rights, if i knew it would financially wreak havoc in my life. At the moment , there are very few people espousing , the aggressive tactic,  which is holding the promise of a quicker positive response, from those that normally, dont get anything in the way of a threat , from those whos rights they violate at will.

You are RIGHT, counterclaim is certainly key! In ADDITION, one may file in small claims personally against the officer. In California the maximum small claim amount is $7500 and attorneys are not allowed to represent.
